Creative Thinking: From Idea to Implementation

You have ideas, but how do you know which ones are worth pursuing? This course teaches you to generate novel solutions, evaluate them against real constraints, and build actionable plans to bring them to life.

You'll work through concrete techniques: brainstorming and mind mapping to generate ideas at scale; SCAMPER and lateral thinking to approach problems from unexpected angles; evaluation matrices to choose the strongest candidates; and prototyping methods to test assumptions before full implementation. Each module includes real case studies—from the Post-it Note to Instagram's evolution—so you see how creative thinking actually works in practice.

This course is designed for students in grades 10–11 who want to understand creativity as a learnable skill, not a mystery. It's useful whether you're tackling a school project, designing something new, or simply learning to think more systematically about problems. You'll finish with both a toolkit and the habit of iterating: testing, learning, and refining until your idea works.
