Electronics Basics from Scratch: Building and Debugging Circuits on a Breadboard and Arduino
Build a working circuit on a breadboard: calculate the resistor, test with a multimeter, program Arduino.
What you'll learn
About the course
You've opened an Arduino kit or found an old device—and don't know where to start. The LED burns out, the multimeter shows confusing numbers, the circuit from the internet doesn't work. This course teaches practice: how to assemble a circuit on a breadboard so it works on the first try, and how to find the error if something goes wrong.
You'll master four concrete skills: calculate a current-limiting resistor using Ohm's law, learn to measure voltage and resistance with a multimeter, connect a button with a pull-up resistor and a potentiometer, and write a program in Arduino IDE to control an LED. Your final project is a complete working circuit with a blinking LED, a button, and speed adjustment.
This course is for adults without technical education who want to understand electronics for hobbies, repairing household devices, or starting Arduino projects. No prior knowledge required—just the desire to work with a soldering iron and multimeter.
You'll leave with a working circuit in your hands and the ability to read schematics, find typical errors, and debug your designs independently.
