What you'll learn
About the course
You want to learn programming but don't know where to start, and you're worried Python might be too difficult. In reality, within a few hours you'll already be able to write programs that solve real problems: automate calculations, process data, manage lists.
In this course, you'll master variables and data types, conditionals and loops, working with lists and dictionaries, functions for code reuse, reading and writing files, and Python's built-in modules. Each lesson follows the same structure: first a real problem, then an explanation, then you write the code yourself.
This course is for those who have never programmed before and want to reach the level where you can take a task and solve it. If you've already written code in another language, it will be easier, but it's not necessary. This course doesn't prepare you for a senior-level interview — it's the foundation that everything else is built on.
You'll finish the course with several working programs in your portfolio and the confidence that you can write code that actually works.
